Cutting Boards

 Important note about glass cutting boards.  While glass is an easy surface to keep clean, glass cutting boards can damage knives because of the high hardness of the material. Cutting on glass tends to dent, roll or even chip knife edges. Everyday usage of slicing and cutting is encouraged, but excessive chopping on glass cutting boards is not recommended as the constant force of chopping can cause chipping and contamination of food. Glass can become slippery and care must be taken when using to prevent any injury during use and washing.
